Debt collection process
When your client does not pay in time, you can turn to a debt collection agency. In the extrajudicial phase the debtor is encouraged to pay without any need for judicial measures. If your debtor still does not pay the judicial phase can be started. For both phases you can rely on Nova Incasso’s assistance.
In the extrajudicial phase we send your debtor several summations by post and e-mail and in between make phone calls to the debtor. In most cases the debt gets collected in the judicial phase, but when the extrajudicial phase does not lead to the desired result we can proceed to the judicial phase.
One of our legal experts will draw up the required legal documents. The debtor can contest the claim and eventually the judge will decide in a verdict if the claim is legitimate. If the claim is accepted we will be able to act to collect the debt by seizing the debtor’s assets. The costs of the judicial phase are clearly stated upfront in Nova Incasso’s proposal. This statement includes all costs, so this will be the final invoice.
